From the field
Foremen and field staff upload receipt photos, including from an iPhone, or forward documents by email. A paid receipt becomes an expense on the payment account AP selects.
Supply-house receipts from the truck, distributor invoices against your POs, and PMs who need a say. Denize puts every line on the right job in QuickBooks Online.

Electrical, mechanical, plumbing and other trade contractors handle a steady flow of supplier material invoices and supply-house receipts from the field. Denize reads each one, turns supplier invoices into QuickBooks Bills and paid receipts into expenses, codes every line to the right job and cost code, and matches the PO number printed on the invoice. The PM approves in Denize, without a QuickBooks login, before anything posts.
Foremen and field staff upload receipt photos, including from an iPhone, or forward documents by email. A paid receipt becomes an expense on the payment account AP selects.
Distributors and supply houses email invoices to your company’s intake address. Denize reads them in the background, and each one waits for review before it becomes a Bill.
Denize suggests a Product/Service or Category, Class and customer/job for each line, instead of one account for the whole invoice. A hardware-store receipt with a paint brush and a box of drywall screws lands on Painting:Materials and Drywall:Materials separately.
It follows however your company job-costs, whether items, classes or accounts serve as cost codes. Corrections your reviewers verify become the suggested coding next time for that vendor and job, and when your own history conflicts, the line is held for review instead of guessed. How job costing works in QuickBooks Online.
Matching an invoice to the wrong PO is worse than not matching it, so Denize works through the evidence in order.
When the distributor prints your PO number on the invoice, Denize finds that PO on the project before anything else.
Without a usable PO number, the vendor’s open POs on that project are offered to AP. Denize never links one by itself.
A PO number that belongs to a different vendor is flagged for AP, not linked.
Freight or a substitution that is not on the PO is suggested for coding and flagged for review, not silently added to the PO.
Each project has a PM and a backup. Coded bills go to the assigned PM, who approves them in Denize or sends them back with a reason. PMs use their own Denize account and do not need a QuickBooks login; company, project and action permissions decide what they can see and do.
Two illustrative examples with made-up amounts. They are not customer results.
A foreman buys 500 feet of 12/2 cable, a box of device boxes and a hole saw for the Lot 14 job, pays with the company card and photographs the receipt. Denize reads it as a paid receipt, so it becomes an expense on the card account AP picks. The cable and boxes are suggested for Lot 14’s electrical materials, and AP reviews every line, including whether the hole saw belongs on the job at all.
The distributor’s invoice prints PO 1043. Denize finds PO 1043 on that project for that vendor, and the invoice lines link to the PO lines so their coding carries over. A freight line that is not on the PO is flagged for review. The PM approves, and the Bill posts to QuickBooks with the original attached.
Denize for Procore prepares Direct Costs and commitment invoices from the invoices you receive, with a cost code and cost type on every line, for you to review and submit.
If you bill your general contractors through Procore, that is the receivables side: for specialty contractors, Procore calls its Invoicing tool Progress Billings (as of October 2026). Denize works on payables, the invoices and receipts you receive.
AP plans are priced by the invoices you process, from $199 a month for 100 invoices to about $1 per invoice at volume, up to 2,000 a month on the public list. Users are unlimited, so foremen, PMs and AP are not priced per seat. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time, and prices are in US dollars.
Yes. Field staff can upload receipt photos or forward documents by email.
Denize decides from the document. A supplier invoice becomes a Bill and a paid receipt becomes an expense. AP can change the type at upload.
PDF, JPEG and PNG files up to 3.5 MB. PDFs can have up to 20 pages; oversized files are rejected instead of skipping pages.
No. Denize uses your vendors, items, Classes, accounts, customer/job mappings and existing POs, and we confirm the available fields during onboarding.
