What construction AP automation costs in 2026
Published prices for AP software that US construction companies use, each with its source and the date we checked it. All prices in US dollars. Published by Sublien LLC, which sells Denize.

The short answer
Denize lists $199 a month for 100 invoices, up to $2,099 for 2,000, which is about $1 per invoice at volume, with unlimited users. Among other AP tools, Vergo publishes $0.50 per invoice plus a platform fee, BILL and Ramp publish per-user prices, and Adaptive, Stampli and AvidXchange publish no figure on the pages we checked. Every price below links to its source.

What does Denize cost?
AP plans by invoices a month. Yearly is 10 months’ price with a 12-month invoice pool.

- Unlimited users. AP, reviewers and project managers are never priced per seat.

Only what each vendor publishes on its own site. Where a vendor lists no price, we say so instead of repeating figures from other sites.

Models
How are AP automation tools priced?
Per user
You pay for each person with a seat. It is predictable for a small AP team, and grows when PMs and field staff need to approve.
Revenue band
The price follows your company’s size rather than your invoice count. You need a quote to know the number.
Per organization
One price per company file, often with unlimited users. Check what the plan includes, such as PO matching, before comparing.
Before you compare quotes
What should you ask every AP vendor about price?
- Is there a platform fee, and how much is it?
- Are there payment or transaction fees on top of the subscription?
- What counts as one invoice? Is a multi-page AIA G702/G703 pay application one invoice or several?
- What happens when you go over your allowance in a busy month?
- Do PMs and field approvers count as paid users?
- What is the contract term, and can you cancel monthly?
Benchmarks for the cost of processing an invoice by hand are widely quoted. We only publish figures we can read at the primary source on publish day, so none appears here.

How much does AP automation cost per invoice?
It depends on the pricing model. On monthly billing Denize works out to $1.99 per invoice on the 100-invoice plan and $1.05 at 2,000 a month. Vergo publishes $0.50 per invoice plus a platform fee. getvergo.com/pricing, as of October 2026
Does Denize charge per user?
No. AP staff, approvers and field users are not priced per seat. Each connected company has its own plan.
Is Invoice Check included in Denize AP plans?

Can we cancel a Denize plan?
Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. You can move to a larger or smaller plan, or between monthly and yearly, by contacting Denize.
